During the Pandemic my Aerostat idea went through a metamorphosis. I took the initial idea back to first principles with my friend Tim Bennett. Tim is a Los Alamos physicist. Me, I’m a selfe edjumacated philosopher artist that likes to invent on occasion, asked Tim to help me bounce ideas. It was so much fun brainstorming. This is one of the few times in my life I have felt actually alive and so very excited.

I also went to work for KBR in Phoenix AZ, there I met some new friends while making millions of masks. I made a contact that said he would try and get me in contact with someone at NASA when I very briefly explained how I want to test an idea that is a better HeiDAS_UH.

I looked up patents on Google for key words and phrases similar to a steam balloon. I found a few current Chinese Patents that were in the neighborhood of what I have been idea building.

In early 2020 I used Fusion 360 to test materials via the Fusion 360 stress simulation modeling software. During 2020 I also did a lot of math proofs on my upgraded idea. Math is so cool! I had to teach myself a bit of physics via YouTube, I also used Google calculators to help me jump between Kg’s and lbs or Kelvin, °C and °F, I also used Engineer’sToolBox.com to cross reference my math.

In 2019 and 2020 I must have watched 100+ hours of YouTube on patent law. During 2020 I also created a more detailed description of my HeiDAS_UH esk project, it’s about 50 slides long. Creating a more detailed description and doing more math proofs helped me realize more strength and weaknesses of my idea.

I have now thought and trashed, and thought and trashed, and thought and trashed this one one nagging idea for about 6 years now. It has grow little by little.

I want to begin testing specific parts of the project. I want to do a materials test.

My friend Tim thought I might take another 6 to 10 years of developing.

I just Googled super heated balloon technology, because a friend of mine from Los Alamo Labs suggested I see if my “awesome new idea” had already been invented. And it has, mostly, my concept is a bit different because I arrived at the same idea altho from a unique perspective or path. I sent the info to my father and to a Nasa friend of mine. Maybe now they will take my crazy math seriously. If anyone is interested in helping me with this idea call me 505-913-1058. Or email me directly jiin1881@gmail.com i think this technology could be very interesting to develop. To run a test it will cost about $1000.00 in insulation material.
